Meet the Miami Team Behind Tilehurst Roofing Miami
Roofing in Miami isn’t a nine-to-five trade, and the crew we’ve built reflects that. Salt air, afternoon downpours, hurricane season from June through November, and a relentless sun that bakes asphalt shingles to the edge of their service life. Our technicians work on some of the toughest rooftops in the country. What unites them isn’t just skill. It’s the way they finish a job: the written price is already settled, the guarantee is in the customer’s hand, and the driveway is cleaner than it was when we pulled up. That’s the standard, every time, on every roof.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Marcus D., Lead Technician
Marcus has been on South Florida roofs for eighteen years, the last six with Tilehurst Roofing Miami. He’s our lead on complex re-roofs, which means he’s the one walking the decking before anything gets torn off, mapping out where the old underlayment failed and why. Marcus holds GAF Master Elite and CertainTeed Master Shingle Applicator certifications, and he’s the first to say a certification only matters if the work backs it up. He grew up in Opa-locka and still refuses to work anywhere else. On weekends, he’s rebuilding a 1972 Boston Whaler in his garage, which is a very Miami way to relax. Ask him about drip edge and he’ll talk for an hour.
Luis R., Senior Installer
Luis runs our tear-off and install crews, which means he’s responsible for the pace and the details in equal measure. He’s been with the Kingswell family of companies for eleven years and came up through the trade the old way: carrying bundles, then cutting valleys, then running his own crew. His specialty is flashing work around chimneys, skylights, and sidewall transitions, the exact spots where water finds its way into a Miami home if the detailing is sloppy. Luis is our in-house CertainTeed credentialed installer and leads material training for the newer crew members. He’s the quiet one on the team who notices when a gutter line is three degrees off and fixes it before anyone asks. You’ll usually find him on a roof at first light, because in July, the afternoon heat tells you when the day is over.
Daniela S., Service Coordinator
When you call Tilehurst Roofing Miami, Daniela is most often the live person who answers. She’s been dispatching and coordinating for roofing teams across South Florida for nine years, and she knows our schedule, our material lead times, and which crew fits which job better than anyone. Daniela is the reason your written estimate arrives when we say it will and the reason a repair crew shows up with the right materials already loaded. She speaks fluent Spanish, which matters in this city, and she has a habit of remembering every returning customer’s name and roof detail without looking at the file. Before roofing, she worked dispatch for a courier company in Hialeah, and she still routes our trucks like someone who hates wasted time.
Anthony P., Apprentice
Anthony is in his second year with us and came through a roofing apprenticeship program here in Miami-Dade. He’s the one hauling bundles up the ladder at 6:45 a.m. and the one sweeping the driveway at the end of the day, and he takes both jobs equally seriously. He’s already earned his OSHA 10 and is working toward his first manufacturer credential with GAF. Anthony grew up in Little Havana, and he’ll tell you the hardest part of the job isn’t the heat, it’s resisting the cafecito runs mid-morning. He’s calm on a steep pitch, careful with a nail gun, and exactly the kind of person you want learning the trade the right way, from the roof up.
One Standard, Every Job
Every Tilehurst Roofing location is independently owned and operated under the Kingswell Guarantee, and Greg Holloway runs this one the way he’d want a roof done on his own home. That means the crew follows the Kingswell Way on every job, no exceptions: say the price before the work, show up in the window we gave, leave the place cleaner than we found it, put the guarantee in writing, and come back if it fails. For a full year after any job, the 365-Day Done Right Promise stays in effect. If something isn’t right, we make it right. Every repair gets a written guarantee before the crew leaves the driveway, and every replacement starts with a written price in your hands before the first shingle comes off. That standard doesn’t shift depending on the neighborhood, the season, or how busy the week is. It’s the reason people in Miami keep our number saved.
